ある科学者が食べ物がなくても太陽の光だけで生きていける薬を開発した。
その後世界中の飢餓はすべてなくなったが、
何もしなくても生きていけるので人々は働かなくなってしまった。
ついにはみな動こうともせずただひたすら太陽を見ているだけとなり、
次第に体の機能もそれに合わせて退化していった。
何億年もたって、それを僕たちは植物と呼ぶようになった。
